one day they found a man and he was normal.
absolutely average. not entirely bland of course, for that in itself would be odd. just the right mix of quirks and cliches to be completely unremarkable.
it caused a small phenomenon, he developed a following online. he was even interviewed on a few local chat shows.
of course some smart alec soon pointed out that his fame voided his averageness. for a moment it seemed like maybe the man was special after all.
but these were the days of social media, almost everyone got their 15 minutes, and on closer inspection it was decided he was only averagely famous.
he was still completely unremarkable.
this made him a little sad.
which was a perfectly normal response.
